UI/UX Designer:

(Located at corporate office in Beltsville, Maryland)

This person will assist with development and maintenance of our web application, with an emphasis on front-end design, and UI/UX. Your talents will be used to contribute new and edgy ideas to our industry leading and award winning products. We are a leader in Global PR management, media analytics, and social media.

Requirements

Strong understanding and practical application of UI/UX principles and practices
Solid understanding of XHTML/HTML, and CSS
Understanding of JavaScript, AJAX, and modern web technologies and standards
Ability to debug rendering issues across modern browsers
Strong communication skills
Ability to see product features from concept to execution
Ability to turn spoken and written requirements into use cases, wireframes, and final designs
Bachelor's degree or higher
Positive attitude, organized, energetic, ability to contribute in a team setting, results-oriented, self-motivated, attention to detail, flexibility

The ideal candidate would also have:

Understanding of development methodologies include lean or agile methods
Knowledge of one or more web programming languages, libraries, or frameworks (e.g. PHP, jQuery, Python, Ruby on Rails)
Knowledge of interface testing methodologies (A/B testing, multivariate testing, etc.)
Familiarity and experience with testing interface design
Keen interest in business development, entrepreneurship
Portfolios, links, or concrete demonstrations of experience with any of the above
