For the first time, Vocus will sponsor and attend the National Collegiate Sales Competition (aka NCSC) at Kennesaw State University this weekend. Many colleges and universities now offer courses, majors, and degrees in selling- and the top programs are represented at NCSC. Vocus recruiters Meredith and Lindsey will head down to Atlanta for the event along with Sales Managers Mike and Jason to hunt the most talented recruits coming out of college today! The event takes place over a span of four days, which include golf, a career fair, sales competitions and an awards ceremony for the top performers.
Students who participate in the NCSC walk away with job offers prior to graduation. Last year’s winners went on to sales positions and internships at Intuit, 3M, and Reckitt Benckiser. It would be great to have a winner (or all of them) join Vocus. Our representatives will make it their mission to tell students about our industry-leading marketing software and the opportunities for growth that come with starting a sales career with us. Our Vocus Marketing Suite offers small businesses the opportunity to grow through integrated marketing. The chance to sell a cutting-edge product is an awesome one for recent grads who are driven and are passionate about sales and marketing. The top collegiate sales talent in the country is what Vocus wants to expand sales teams in Maryland and Virginia. Naturally, we are sending two of our Sales Directors to meet participants and discuss our opportunities with them.
